ThermoShield Series – (no adhesive)

Thermoshield is a closed cell polyethylene foam with re-enforced aluminium foil facing. Specially formulated PE foam with reinforced aluminium foil on one side and available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive on the other side. Chemically resistant to sea water, brine, soap, detergents, diluted acids, alcohol, ketones and esters. Will not hold water.

Applications

APPLICATION GUIDE

Surfaces should be clean before applying. Avoid touching adhesive surface before application.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Duct lining, under slab insulation, transport, refrigeration, mechanical wrapping around ducts.

Foil Specification:

  • Material: Aluminium foil reinforced with 12um LDPE film
  • Thickness: 7um foil plus 12um film = 19um total
  • Moisture Permeability: Less than 1.0gm2, 24 hours
